Went out this morning and met Sue Barrett at the gardens. We did some work in the Meditation Garden. Also trimmed back some Clematis in the Rose Garden.

Killed four lily beetles. They were on the young shoots of the Martigons. Here is what was blooming.

June 5th

Killed two more lily beetles. Harvested a garbage bag full of creeping bell flower. Pruned some of the shrubs.

I actually went to plant some miniature roses that I grew for Gardenscape. To my big surprise the Heritage Rose Garden was being watered, so I puttered in the Meditation Garden instead. The following are the blooms of the day.

June 20th

Later irises are blooming. Five of us cleaned up the Heritage Rose Garden, while Sue continued her work in the Robin Smith Meditation Garden. The following were some of the blooms in the Meditation Garden this week.
