Insect repellent and a water bottle can also come in handy. A $4.50 parking fee is in effect at the park. Tell the attendant that you are a volunteer and the parking fee will be waived.

Garden Tour - Saskatchewan Perennial Society

Starting gardens:  1102 Osler Street at McKinnon Ave. and the second garden pick-up location, 2002 Pembina Avenue. You can start your tour at either of these locations.

You receive the addresses for the other gardens at either of these locations. This is a self-drive garden  tour. Free to the public.

Due to water main replacement and Hampton Sewer Upgrade in River Heights access from Spadina Cr to Pembina is restricted. There are two options:
1.  Traveling on Spadina Cr.,  go around the Road Closed Ahead barricade on Pembina to access 2002 Pembina.
2. or, travelling on Assiniboine, turn onto Red River Road, left onto Pembina (go around Road Closed  Ahead barricade).
